About
Laura is an urbanist with a focus on urban-social transformation processes and social-scientific urban research. At TSPA, she leads projects on risk-informed master planning in India, the contribution to visioning processes in Berlin-Brandenburg, and conducts research on integrated urban development and affordable housing as part of an international knowledge exchange between German and American cities. Her work is shaped by her fascination with the interdisciplinary interplay of urban planning, and functional, socio-political, cultural, and economic perspectives in planning. The combination of different points of view, moderation of complex public work, and participation are essential components of her work experience. Laura believes that issues in urban society should always be viewed holistically, presented in a comprehensible manner, and discussed across disciplines in order to develop the best possible solutions.
